When I left NYC for San Francisco 30 years ago, my husband and I made the decision to explore Asia every chance we got. Growing up all of my international travel was Europe centric, as was my style!
In 1994 I went to Hong Kong for the first time and soon after Viet Nam, Thailand, Singapore and India over multiple trips. I adore the people, culture, food and architecture throughout all of Asia.
The pagoda as a form is beautiful, unique and enchanting. I love the lines of the different temples from country to country, they all have a distinct look and feel. They radiate peace and tranquility which makes them a perfect subject for a morning or evening robe.
Working with my artistic partner using trip photos of our favorite structures and eventually narrowing it down to the ones we loved most. I hope you love how it turned out.
